Your data belongs to you. Full stop.
No ads means we never had a reason to mine you, profile you, or sell you on. This page is the plain-English version of that promise — what we collect, what we never touch, and how to take it all back.
Four lines we don’t cross
Not aspirations. Constraints we built the product around.
You own it
Your posts, your photos, your circle — yours. We hold them so you can use them, not so we can sell them.
Plain English, no fine print
If a policy needs a lawyer to decode, it's hiding something. Ours reads like a sentence, because it is one.
No third party in the room
No ad networks, no data brokers, no shadowy 'partners.' What happens on wack stays on wack.
Off is the default
We collect the minimum to make the thing work. Anything beyond that is opt-in, never opt-out.
What we collect
The minimum to make a social network actually run.
- ✓Your handle, display name, and the bio you chose to write
- ✓The posts, photos, and messages you create
- ✓Who's in your circle — because that's the whole point
- ✓Basic account security signals (logins, device sessions)
- ✓Crash and error logs, so we can fix what breaks
What we never collect
The stuff Big Social treats as the main course.
- ✕Your contacts, address book, or phone's other apps
- ✕Your location, beyond the country you log in from
- ✕A behavioral profile to predict or nudge what you do
- ✕Anything sold, rented, or 'shared' with advertisers
- ✕Microphone, off-site browsing, or cross-app tracking
The no-tracking pledge
There is no advertising on wack, so there is nothing to track you for.
No pixels. No fingerprinting. No third-party cookies. No SDKs phoning home in the background. We make money from software, not from a dossier with your name on it — and a business that doesn’t profit from your attention has no reason to harvest it.
Exactly how we make money →Your data, on your terms
Rights you can actually use — not buried, not throttled, not pretend.
Export everything
One button. A full, machine-readable archive of every post, message, photo, and connection. No support ticket, no 30-day wait.
Delete everything
Delete means delete. We purge your data from live systems immediately and from backups on their next cycle — for real, not 'deactivated.'
Correct anything
Edit your profile, fix a typo, change your handle. Your record is yours to keep accurate.
Take it and go
Leave whenever you like and walk out with your data in hand. No hostage tactics, no dark-pattern exit maze.
Security, by default
Locked at the database, not just the door
Row-level security
Every table enforces access at the row. The database itself refuses to hand back a record you’re not allowed to see — no app bug can leak it.
Encrypted in transit
TLS on every connection, end to end. Nothing you send travels across the wire in the clear.
Least privilege
Services hold the narrowest access that does the job, and security signals stay siloed from your content.
Want the long, formal version with every clause spelled out? It’s there too — same promises, lawyer-readable.

Because the deal is simple: your data stays yours.
